Assembly Process

DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis and tolerance chain verification aligned with business needs are the core premise for ensuring assembly accuracy and efficiency.

Design Overview

First, we conduct DFM analysis on your design, synchronously completing tolerance chain verification and assembly process adaptation evaluation. We identify potential dimensional interference and process conflicts in advance, and develop a detailed execution plan including process takt and tooling selection—laying the foundation for efficient connection between part manufacturing and assembly.

Part Preparation

Before assembly, all parts pass first-article full-dimensional inspection (per GD&T standards) and undergo cleanliness control (compliant with ISO 16232 industrial cleanliness levels). We also verify the fit clearance and geometric tolerances of key parts to ensure all components meet assembly datum requirements, eliminating hidden risks for seamless assembly.

Assembly

Our professional assembly team completes component assembly per preset process takt, relying on error-proof tooling and visual work instructions. We monitor key dimensions in real time via in-line gauges, ensuring the process capability index Cpk ≥ 1.33 to guarantee precise alignment and functional compliance of metal and plastic parts.

Packaging and Delivery Icon

Packaging & Delivery

After assembly, we use custom protective packaging (adapted to ISTA 3A transportation vibration standards) based on part precision levels, and attach traceability labels containing batch and inspection data. Through logistics lead time classification management, we ensure finished products arrive intact within the specified period, with full assembly process data traceable.

Assembly Methodsfor Parts

Process selection based on component characteristics and application scenarios is the key to ensuring assembly reliability.

Manual Assembly

Manual Assembly

Performed by technicians certified in ASME Y14.5 tolerance standards, it adapts to small-batch, high-complexity precision component assembly (e.g., customized modules with multi-dimensional fits). Digital measuring tools are used to real-time control assembly clearance, ensuring fit accuracy ≤ 0.02mm.

Molding Assembly

Molding Assembly

High-precision insert/overmolding processes are used, with insert tolerance controlled ≤ 0.05mm via mold locating pins to achieve integrated integration of plastic and metal parts. After molding, shear strength tests (per ASTM D732 standards) are performed to ensure structural stability of the assembly.

Mechanical Assembly

Mechanical Assembly

Threaded connections are executed with torque wrenches (±5% accuracy), and riveting processes monitor pull-out force (per GB/T 12617 standards). Welding processes comply with AWS D1.1 specifications, and non-destructive testing (penetrant inspection) verifies connection integrity to ensure long-term durability of mechanical joints.

Adhesive Assembly

Adhesive Assembly

Structural adhesives compliant with ASTM D1002 shear strength standards are selected, with adhesive layer thickness (0.1-0.3mm) controlled by dispensers. After curing, environmental adaptability tests (high-low temperature, humidity-heat cycling) are performed to ensure the stability of adhesive joints in working conditions, free of visible fasteners and assembly defects.

We Support Precision AssemblyNeeds Across All Scenarios

Precision assembly of components

We have precision assembly capabilities for multi-category components, covering structural parts, functional parts, specialized equipment, etc. Relying on the GD&T tolerance control system and industry-specific process standards, we can accurately deliver assembly projects from regular components to high-complexity equipment, ensuring precision and reliability in every link.

Assembly Needs List:

  • Precision structural steel components (compliant with GB/T 1591 structural steel assembly tolerance standards)
  • Precision assembly of metal functional parts (meeting ASME Y14.5 geometric tolerance control requirements)
  • Accurate assembly of engineering plastic parts (adapted to ISO 2768 general tolerance specifications)
  • Integrated assembly of specialized industrial equipment (aligning with industry equipment assembly precision benchmarks)
  • Assembly of electrical functional components (meeting IEC 60204 electrical assembly safety specifications)
  • Assembly of high-complexity fixtures (ensuring ≤0.02mm fit clearance)
